Teachers (Mrs Sam's Learning Formula, MSLF™)

Responsibilities:

As a full-time MSLF™ Teacher, you are responsible for the care and supervision of the students who enrol with our programmes, mainly, Preparatory Program, Sight Reading Programme and Phonics Reading and Spelling Programme. It is imperative to follow closely to the teaching methodology defined in the teacher’s manual created for MSLF™ to ensure consistency across all the lessons delivered by our teachers to our students.

Carries out Mission, Vision, Values and Culture established by the Founder for MSLF™

Participates in the overall agency accreditation and quality improvement processes (SGS / ISO Certification)
- Strict compliance and observance of the MSLF™ Quality Policy and processes
-


Assists in training associate teachers and assistants (e.g. franchisees), as assigned, and conducts performance evaluations and provides functional training and guidance
-

Ensures implementation of age appropriate curriculum to nurture and stimulate the psycho social, cognitive and cultural needs of the children in your care
-

Responsible to report directly to Managing Director, Operations Manager and Central Office Administrator concerns regarding staffing or classroom issues
-

Keeps necessary attendance records, up-to-date emergency forms, curriculum plans, individual child development profile and other records as needed
- Develops short and long term goals for individual child and overall group
- Attends staff meetings and trainings as needed or assigned
- Conducts classroom and parent meetings

Implements programs, which encourages parent involvement and development

Responsible to communicate with parents on child development issues, policies or other concerns related to their child

Responsible for securing health, hygiene, safety and overall well-being of children at all times
- Keeps classroom(s) neat and orderly

Must have the ability to nurture respectful relationships with clients and children and must be sensitive to the client’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics

Responsible for reporting any symptoms of child abuse and neglect, abnormal behaviours, injuries, illnesses to the Managing Director, Operations Manager, Central Office Administrator and/or parents
- Completion of assessments and tracking records on an on-going basis
-

Preparation of an individualised plan for each child based on assessments and observations
- Maintains confidentiality of records and information of staff and families
- May perform other duties as assigned by the Management

Requirements:

Great passion for educating children and the ability to speak, spell as well as write fluent English are strong qualities that we seek in our candidates. We are prepared to train our teachers to become full-time MSLF™ teachers hence the candidate must also demonstrate strong commitment towards our vision and goals to help children benefit from MSLF™.

Skills required:

- Minimum 'O', ‘A’ Level or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- Experience in early childhood education
